AirAsia appoints Amanda Woo as CEO for its super app bizKUALA LUMPUR (May 18): AirAsia Group Bhd has appointed Amanda Woo as the Chief Executive Officer of airasia super app, or previously known as airasia.com, with effect tomorrow (May 19). She is replacing Karen Chan, who will be assuming a board position with the super app business, according to a statement released today. Prior to this, Woo was promoted in early-2019 to Chief Commercial Officer, whereby she was part of the founding team of the airasia super app. In her new role, Woo will be reporting to Aireen Omar, President (airasia Digital) AirAsia Group.
