SHARES in LTKM Bhd (fundamental: 0.85/3, valuation: 2/3) was up four sen or 3.1% to close at RM1.33 yesterday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM173 million.

A total of 236,300 shares were crossed, higher than its 200-day average trading volume of 20,051 shares.

For its second financial quarter ended Sept 30, 2018, the group’s net profit jumped more than fivefold to RM7.6 million from RM1.2 million a year ago, while revenue was up marginally to RM46.7 million from RM44.8 million previously.

The improved quarterly result brought cumulative six months to a net profit of RM5.7 million from a net loss of RM984,000 in the previous corresponding quarter.

LTKM is trading at 0.73 times its net book value.
