In the fourth financial quarter ended Dec 31, 2017 (4QFY17), KUB’s net profit expanded by 97% to RM15.03 million from RM7.63 million a year ago on better performances at its energy, agriculture, food, property, and power sectors.
Quarterly revenue grew 40% to RM183.98 million from RM131.32 million in 4QFY16.
For full FY17, KUB’s net profit jumped 42.24% to RM32.19 million, against RM22.63 million. Revenue clocked in 20.88% higher at RM599.28 million, versus RM495.77 million, attributed to the improved top-line performances in all sectors due to various factors.
At the current share price, KUB is trading at 0.88 times its book value.
