The building houses the offices of the Sapura Group of Companies
KUALA LUMPUR (March 16): The Social Security Organisation (Socso) has denied that it is interested in buying Sapura Mines.
The March 7, 2022-March 13, 2022 edition of The Edge Malaysia reported that Sapura Mines — the commercial building located at Mines Resort City in Seri Kembangan, Selangor — was said to be up for sale, and that Socso was one of the interested parties.
“We would like to clarify that this is not true,” said Socso chief communications officer Muhammad Amyzaddin Raya in a brief statement. “We would appreciate that in the future, any matters related to Socso to be addressed directly to us via our strategic communications division."
Socso, which is under the Ministry of Human Resources, currently has its headquarters in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
