KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 15): Bursa Malaysia has today issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query on the sharp rise in the share price and volume of travel management company firm Parlo Bhd.

“We draw your attention to the sharp rise in price and volume of your company’s shares recently,” Bursa said.

The exchange regulator's statement was carried in Parlo’s filing on Bursa’s website.

Parlo had not responded to Bursa’s query at the time of writing.

At 11.22am, Parlo rose 9.21% or 3.5 sen to 41.5 sen, valuing it at RM151.07 million. The counter saw some 32.07 million shares traded.
