AMMB appoints new chairman in AmMetLife

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 29): AMMB Holdings Bhd announced that its subsidiary AmMetLife Insurance Bhd has appointed Cho Horng Fatt as its new chairman effective Jan 1, 2018.
“Cho, a Malaysian aged 64, has been a member of the board of directors of AmMetLife since 2010,” said AMMB in a filing today.
Horng is also an independent non-executive director at AmFamily Takaful Bhd, Bloomberg data showed.
Shares of AMMB closed 4 sen or 0.92% higher at RM4.41, giving the financial services firm a market capitalisation of RM13.29 billion.
