Sam Engineering up after declaring interim, special dividends

KUALA LUMPUR (June 8): Sam Engineering & Equipment (M) Bhd shares rose as much as 21 sen or 3% to RM7.59 so far today after the company declared interim and special dividends yesterday.
Sam Engineering said in a bourse filing that it declared its first interim single-tier dividend of 14.01 sen a share and a special single-tier dividend of 9.35 sen a share for financial year ended March 31, 2018.
The company said the dividends will be paid to shareholders on Aug 10, 2018.
At 12:01pm today, Sam Engineering shares were traded at RM7.51 after 71,800 units exchanged hands. The stock was transacted between RM7.50 and RM7.59 so far today.
