Dr M admitted to IJN for chest infection

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 10): Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) last night and is being treated for chest infection following a bout of cough.
According to a statement from IJN today, Dr Mahathir is being treated in the general ward.
"Dr Mahathir will be admitted for a few days to allow for treatment and observation," IJN said.
It added that visits are only allowed for close family members.
